Celebs Who Should Have Kept Their Politics to Themselves

There’s an unwritten rule in Hollywood that you don’t reveal your politics until you’ve attained a certain level of fame. And when you finally decide to, you’d better be left of center OR ELSE. The following celebs didn’t receive this memo.

1. Adam Carolla

Adam Carolla and Jimmy Kimmel once hosted the popular The Man Show, until Jimmy took over the late night slot on ABC. Meanwhile, Carolla took off to produce his own podcast where he ‘tells it like it is.’ Unfortunately, Adam’s reality doesn’t mesh with a lot of individuals within Hollywood. In 2011, Carolla got in trouble for making a flippant remark about transgender people: “When did we start giving a s*** about these people?” He routinely attacks political correctness, as well as special guests on his program. During an interview with San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsome, Adam alleged that all issues in the black community were solely the result of children growing up without a dad. Understandably, this stirred feathers all over Hollywood, and Carolla was labeled a racist.
